We tried the main dishes in chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. U can get free Pita on request. The staff was friendly. There chocolate pastry dessert is amazing and the owner mentioned that they make it everyday. This is a little high end but their portion sizes are huge. The menu is limited and it is not suitable for vegetarians.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. They were very accommodating for our large group of 18. The service was excellent, the manager stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was okay and our waitress Jessica always made sure we had everything we needed, drinks were always brought promptly and water refilled, dirty dishes removed so our table was never crowded. All the staff were very polite and friendly. We will definitely be back!!!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Moncton! I have dietary restrictions (gluten free) and they were so careful in explaining the whole menu, aside from providing a GF pita with a fair extra charge. All the mains are GF and most of the apps can be made GF. Staff is wonderful, happy, nice and very professional. Food is delicious, we had the shrimp and chicken dish, the rice and the potatoes are very authentic. Pro tip: order the side of tzatziki and dip your potatoes in it! Also, the salad is wonderful. The music is vibrant and puts you in a great mood! The decor is also soo pretty! I recommend 100%

Ooopa!!! Awesome Greek resto in downtown Moncton. Food very tasty and delicious. Service was great ! Their sour whiskeys are excellent. It was a very busy night (Sat) when we were there…so….on the loud side ! We will return for sure !!!

The service was friendly and the food was great with flavors that closely resembled traditional Persian cuisine. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We tried several dishes, and each one was fantastic. I highly recommend this spot to anyone in Moncton.

Had a great experience at Taverna last night! There were 8 of us for a 40th birthday. The food was great, service was attentive and friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere upstairs. The portions were large enough that I’m still eating it today :) We will definitely be back.

Congratulation to Billy-Dimitri & Staff. My Son and i did a little Christmas shopping and then stopped in at Taverna. Let me tell you that this is the best Greek Food and atmosphere East of Montreal. We had Saganaki fried Greek cheese set ablaze with Metaxa Brandy and then generously topped with lemon juice, this along with the grilled octopus smothered with capers onions and secret dressing was mouth watering. Our mains included medium angus steak that was like no other, Greek salad and lemon potatoes, lamb on skewers and a must for everyone the Taverna fries. If you have not been to Taverna, call Billy and reserve your table, you will not regret it. Thank you for a wonderful evening, see you soon. Opa!!!!

Warm ambiance, friendly happy staff, excellent food. The swordfish & lamb chops were simply exquisite. Order dessert, you will not be disappointed - the Portokalopita with vanilla ice cream and an espresso tied off a perfect dining experience.

My workplace just celebrated our Christmas party here and we had an absolutely awesome time!! The food was amazing and the setup overall from dining to dancing was flawless! Extra thanks to all the wonderful staff in the kitchen, serving, and bartending! We were treated exceptionally well!! Can't wait to come back for date nights!! Thank you for such a great evening!
